Definitely an improvement on the execrable "Shake It Off", but still not good by any means. It didn't annoy me as almost every other song of hers and her voice sounds less whiny than usual. A track that appealed to me immediately. As someone who isn't really fond of un-natural sounding auto-tune, the way her voice rests on the beat for the chorus is just really appealing. She says the same words some times, but puts it to melody, so it becomes a really addictive chorus. Not that she just rests on this, I also love the outburst of 'You were looking at me-e-eeeee!' after the second verse. It's just a rather finely crafted tune. 4.1 | |
It's probably one of the more 2006/08 Taylor moments of the album, especially with the storytelling in the lyrics that she was (or is?) so prominent for. I do enjoy it for the most part but the repetition is a little off-putting and just weird. | |

Ok, der Refrain ist einfach eine ständige Wiederholung, aber hier nervt mich das überhaupt nicht. Eine sehr schöne Produktion. Gefällt mir sehr gut. Ein weiterer Top Hit von "1989". | |

This song has got the wonderment. Love the hard thumping synth beats in this too. And I remember releasing this in a three year gap when the whole "1989" era was still going in 2016. |
