My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

I find that this is a difficult album. After first trying it based on the perception that it was of the highest grade of quality, the first time I listened to it, I found it to be mostly incomprehensible garbage. A further two listens provided nearly no difference in opinion, and I sat on it for a couple of months. After making a number of listens recently, the whole thing has managed to sink in for me and has yielded success. I don't know if I can appreciate it fully, even now, but this is a very solid album and possibly the pinnacle of its genre. To settle on a score for the album, I'll resort to the classic standard of averaging the scores of the individual tracks. The only problem with that is that some songs are very short, and some songs are very long. To amend this issue, I have weighted the scores of the songs based on their track length, and have settled on a score of 4.69769838543456, which rounds up to a 5.
