Een heel mooi en volwassen nummer. Ik denk 1 van haar beste of misschien wel haar beste album. Das neue Album von Miley Cyrus klingt ganz anders als zuvor, oder eher, weiter an den Anfang zurück. Sehr stark durch Country beeinflusst, beweist sie hier gut, das ihr auch diese Art von Musik gut steht. Die großen Pop-Kracher bleiben bis auf die Ausnahmen von "Younger Now" und "Malibu" aber aus. Im Vergleich der beiden Vorab-Singles, wirkt der Rest des Albums eher bescheiden. Trotzdem sehr gute Songs darunter und Miley beweist auch das sie eine gute Stimme hat. Hier ist siehr wieder brav, weg von dem Zungenheraustreckenden, twerkenden Girlie das mir nach einer Weile stark auf die Nerven ging, obwohl ich sie vorher ganz gern mochte. Hier gefällt sie mir wieder besser. Und zum Glück um Welten besser als das unterirdische "Dead Petz" Album. So kann man sich Miley gut anhören. The album is her most cohesive by far, you can clearly get the happy, reflective and hopeful vibes through the songs, even if it's not as varied as "Bangerz" and "Dead Petz" when it comes to the mixture of styles, although "Rainbowland" and "Inspired" could pass of as more country-Pop. Initially it was also way easier to get into it than "Bangerz" and "Dead Petz", which needed some time for me to truly appreciate, since i prefer Miley doing poppier songs instead. And finally, this album proves that Miley can successfully experiment other genres, but unfortunately the sudden image/music change has turned off her fanbase, resulting in what could be her lowest album sales ever, the 45k debut in the United States is one of the lowest openings this year for a big female artist. |
