Maybe I shouldn't be, but I'm still in awe of just how good this is. If Jacob Collier has a reputation for going way overboard in search of being experimental, then this is the right sort of reeling in to keep the tune intact. The dynamic shifts are still all over the shop but the song never feels compromised for it. To say nothing of how Lizzy puts in an A+ performance to fit in with the dramatics of the bridge. Perfect downward spiral vibes. Also those harmonies like I just can't stop raving about this. |
