Ariana Grande - Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored

Setting a very cool tone from the outset, the beat to this is fantastic and addictive. Ariana of course delivers her vocals wonderfully, even if this style of song isn't making the most of her talents as a singer, what she does here vocally is perfectly suited to the feel of the track. It's lyrically very interesting, even if the story we're hearing paints our narrator as not necessarily the most moral person. The chorus is quite cool, but it's the pre-chorus which really stands out most to me as the highlight, with a great melody and bringing back that beat to move us to the chorus. An unusual track like this wouldn't work from just any artist, but Ariana is definitely one of the few who can convincingly sell it.
